Innovecs Begins Active Recruitment In The Latin American Market And Welcomes Key Team Members In Colombia

Throughout the year, Innovecs intends to hire 50 specialists in the LATAM region. As part of its expansion strategy, the company hires specialists in areas such as cloud technology, web development, automation QA and data processing. The opening of the hub for work and team meetings in Medellin (Colombia) should help implement the company’s ambitious plans.

According to Alex Lutskiy, Founder and CEO of Innovecs, entering the LATAM market is an important milestone in the further development of the company.

“We are starting to actively search for new team members in the Latin American region and in Colombia in particular. According to Alex, it was the development of a robust base of experts that allowed Innovecs to grow from a team of several people into a confident player in the software development industry, as well as to open offices in the US, and EU, Israel, Ukraine, and Australia. The company’s development in the new market will be enabled by local specialists who are well acquainted with the features of this labor market.

In April 2022, Santiago Cano joined Innovecs as Country Manager in Colombia. Santiago is responsible for coordinating collaborations with key players in Colombia’s IT market, building effective teams, and establishing long-term relationships with the tech community.

According to Santiago, the opening of a new hub in Medellin should help improve work comfort and maintain process transparency for expanding current and building new teams with local professionals.

“Despite the opening of a physical hub, our colleagues will be able to choose whether they prefer to work in the office or remotely. Each project is unique, so team members will be able to select a software product that will allow them to grow professionally and personally. We are convinced that constructive dialogue and close cooperation in cross-cultural teams will become increasingly essential for our work model”, — Santiago emphasizes.

Juan Camilo Romero Arango will take over as Talent Acquisition Manager in Colombia. Juan will seek and hire new talent, as well as take on the function of introducing Latin American professionals to the Innovecs corporate culture.

“The LATAM region, and especially Colombia, is characterized by the presence of technicians who can work in a time zone close to the North American market with a slight difference of 2-3 hours. This gives a competitive advantage in terms of direct communication with customer stakeholders and technical teams”, — commented Juan.

According to Juan, Colombia has a steadily rising number of young, highly educated, and motivated people who specialize in software development and other technology-related fields. We can observe this upward trend due to the high demand for IT jobs and the emergence of new opportunities for IT professionals over the past 3 years. Colombians see prospects in obtaining technical education and learning to code.

The list of vacancies includes positions in Unity 3D, full-stack, backend, .NET, Automation QA, and other career opportunities for engineers in various projects.
