Innovecs, a global digital transformation tech company, continues its expansion to new markets. Having Tbilisi as one of the strategic regions for its delivery hubs location, the company has named Zurab Iashvili Country Manager for Georgia.
Innovecs has started operating in Georgia in 2022, aiming to become a sustainable local employer in the tech arena. Zurab’s appointment supports Innovecs’ broader plans for the region, including reaching Innovecs’ teams with Georgian talents, creating the innovative hub in Tbilisi, and nurturing our clients’ needs. In his role as Country Manager, Zurab will have overall responsibility for the continued growth and success of Innovecs’ business in Georgia.
Zurab is an analytical decision-maker with a solid background in finances and extensive experience in operating and developing companies. He has an in-depth understanding of IT-service industries, as well as expertise in international business having conducted business in Europe and Asia.
Zurab, who was previously Operations and Staffing Manager at Sweeft Digital brings more than seven years of experience in operations, team management, and business growth. Having worked across a variety of sectors, Zurab’s diverse track record includes strategic and crisis management for local and global tech companies. He will use his reach experience to better serve the needs of our clients and partners.
Zurab said: “What got me excited about joining Innovecs was that I felt completely in line with the values of the company and I want to extend that to Georgia. I want to bring the company here that’s built around a long-term strategy, not just short-term goals. I want to help build a company around values, focusing on people, and putting them in the center. I want to be involved in creating something that’s run by ideas, not hierarchy“.
Known for its corporate culture and stability as an employer in several regions, Innovecs supports a hybrid work model that allows team members to work from an office, hub, and home. The opening of the new Innovecs hub in Tbilisi will be announced further.
“I would say that a very modest number would be 30 people during the year. But this by no means sets a limit; I think we can grow as fast as it comes. We are prepared, and we have operational readiness. There are a lot of things going on in the world at the moment, but I hope the situation will stabilize and we will grow very rapidly. Right now we are hiring administrative staff and will then move on to software developers, data engineers, QA specialists, business analysts, project managers, product owners, and so on“, – Zurab said.

Pretty much everybody speaks English fluently and more than 96% of 15 to 38-year-olds use the internet.
