Requirements
  • Experience as Functional Solution Architect.
  • Acted as the SME between the client's business needs and the technical implementation of software solutions.
  • Ensured that the software is configured, customized, and used effectively to meet the client's functional requirements and objectives.
  • Experience as FSA in driving solution design, optimization, and implementation.
  • Industry awareness: Supply Chain overall and execution in particular (WMS, TMS).
  • Strong plus: WCS, OMS, ERP.
  • Fluent English.
Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: collaborates closely with the client to gather detailed information about their business processes and requirements. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and analysis to understand the client's specific needs;
  • Business Process Analysis: analyzes the client's current business processes to identify areas where the software can streamline operations, improve efficiency, and align with industry best practices;
  • System Configuration: based on the gathered requirements, the FSA oversees the configuration of the software system to meet the client's specific needs. This may involve customization of the software, setting up user roles, defining workflows, and configuring data fields;
  • Functional Documentation: creates comprehensive documentation that outlines how the software will be configured to meet the client's requirements. This documentation serves as a reference for both the client and the technical team responsible for implementing the changes;
  • User Training: provides training to end-users and stakeholders to ensure they can effectively use the software to perform their tasks. This training may include workshops, user guides, and support during the transition to the new system;
  • Testing: are involved in the testing phase to ensure that the configured software meets the specified requirements. They collaborate with the client and testing team to identify and resolve any functional issues or deviations;​
  • Data Migration: if the software implementation involves migrating data from legacy systems, FSA oversees this process to ensure data accuracy and integrity during the transition;
  • Integration: works on integrating the software with other systems if required. This includes ensuring that data flows seamlessly between the software and other applications used by the organization;
  • User Support: after the software is implemented, FSA often provides ongoing user support. They address user questions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that the software continues to meet the evolving needs of the client;
  • Cost Estimation: assists in estimating the costs associated with solutions delivery or extension, including advanced configuration and possible customization development efforts;
  • Change Management: implementing new software often brings changes to established workflows and processes. Functional Architect helps to manage these changes by working with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption;
  • Optimization: over time, functional architects assess how the software is performing in the client's environment. They may identify opportunities for further optimization, process improvements, or additional functionality to enhance the value of the software;
  • Feedback Collection: gathers feedback from users and stakeholders to understand their experiences with the software. This feedback can inform future enhancements and improvements to the system;
  • Documentation Updates: as the software evolves or changes are made, FSA updates documentation to reflect the current state of the system and its alignment with the client's requirements.​
