- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Proven experience in preparing tax declarations, preferably for contractors or small businesses;
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations;
- Excellent communication skills to consult on financial matters clearly and professionally;
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word);
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively;
- CPA or equivalent certification - would be a plus;
- Previous experience in a consulting role or with small businesses/contractors - would be a plus.
- Prepare (and file) tax declarations for contractors, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations;
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial documents and contractor tax records;
- Provide clear and concise tax consultation and advice on small issues related to tax, accounting, or financial management as they arise;
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and adjust reporting practices accordingly;
- Assist with end-of-year tax preparations and any audits or reviews that may occur;
- Maintain accurate records of all tax-related documents and ensure confidentiality.
