- Certified Payroll Accountant in Poland (mandatory)
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on payroll experience in Poland
Strong knowledge of:
Polish labour law
- ZUS and tax reporting
Statutory forms and local compliance requirements
Experience with ADP payroll software is preferred; Workday experience is an advantage.
- Experience transitioning payroll from vendor to in-house (advantage)
- Fluent in Polish and very good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll data.
- Hybrid working model – currently 3 days per week in the office
- End-to-end processing of monthly payroll for Poland
- Process payroll through ADP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain payroll data in Workday and ensure alignment with ADP.
- Perform payroll reconciliations, validations, and variance analysis.
- Lead the transition of the client’s payroll from external vendor to ADP.
- Ensure full compliance with Polish labour law and tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports to ZUS, tax authorities, and other local bodies.
- Manage local payroll documentation and statutory forms (including flexi forms).
- Act as the local point of contact for payroll-related audits and authorities.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Support employee payroll queries in Polish and English.
