- 4 + years of hands-on Full Stack development experience, with a track record of delivering and maintaining production web applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript with a strong understanding of object-oriented and component-based design principles and the ability to produce clean, modular code.
- Solid front-end expertise using modern frameworks — React in particular — complemented by strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive-layout skills.
- Proven back-end capability in designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and services using Node.js, .NET/C#, or Python, including familiarity with microservices patterns.
- Confident working with databases — both relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and document-oriented (MongoDB) — with strong SQL proficiency and data-modelling aptitude.
- Practical cloud experience, ideally on Azure, covering application deployment, operations, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and version control with Git.
- Comfortable operating in Agile teams with a demonstrated habit of owning features from inception to release and beyond.
- Effective communicator who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, engaging confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Desirable extras: experience with Docker/Kubernetes, event-driven or message-based architectures, automated testing strategies, AI-assisted development tools, and building products underpinned by AI/ML or large-scale, data-intensive systems.
- Deliver complete features end to end — from initial design through implementation, deployment, and post-release monitoring — across the platform's front-end and back-end layers.
- Craft responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces leveraging modern front-end frameworks (React, TypeScript) to ensure an excellent user experience.
- Engineer robust back-end services and APIs that align with the platform's open-API strategy and integrate smoothly with external client and 3PL systems.
- Design, query, and tune data models in relational databases to ensure product features are reliable and performant.
- Collaborate with data scientists to embed AI/ML outputs and automated decision-making into intuitive, user-facing product workflows.
- Manage cloud deployments on Azure, contribute to CI/CD automation, and apply an observability-first mindset to keep services production-ready.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, working alongside engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver incremental value.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and share constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards and a healthy, sustainable codebase.
- Own the outcomes of delivered features, including uptime, performance optimisation, and iterative improvement after launch.
- Convert business and product requirements into well-thought-out technical designs and reusable, clearly structured solutions.
- Keep documentation current and comprehensive for features, services, and internal processes to support transparency and knowledge transfer.
- Continuously explore emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices — including AI-powered development aids — and champion ideas that boost team velocity and output quality.
